2012 Results and Photo Gallery

Since 1997 the Festival has grown from a small event to one of the major cultural events of the Hawkesbury.

Each year over six thousand people visit the picturesque village of Kurrajong to enjoy all the festival has to offer.

The festival has something to satisfy all levels of sophistication and provides a great weekend for both locals and visitors of all ages.

Important notice from the Kurrajong Scarecrow Festival Committee

In regards to the Festival for 2013, unfortunately important members of our Committee, Peter & Margaret Ewell and Lydia Bowen Clare, are unable to attend the usual date on which we have the Festival. We have also been suffering from a lack of Committee members to assist in putting the Festival on.

So it has been decided that we use this year as an opportunity to have a rest and re-evaluate the fFestival. Sadly a few of the Scarecrows were vandalized last year and this leaves us considering should the festival take on a new direction.

These things and more will be discussed as the year unfolds.Once again we’d like to thank you for your continued support in helping us to present a fabulous free day of entertainment for the Kurrajong community. We hope that we can rely on your support for the 2014 Festival.
